Plates and Coin Trays – Crafted in Fused Glass
Discover our rich collection of plates and coin trays, beautiful pieces handcrafted using the fused glass technique and enriched with Millefiori murrine and glass canes.
Glass fusing (vetrofusione) is a cutting-edge artistic technique that requires millimetric precision: the master glassmaker composes the design cold by meticulously placing the precious Millefiori murrine and colored glass canes onto a base glass sheet. This composition is then placed into a special furnace where all the individual elements fuse together. Subsequently, the glass sheet is laid over a mold and reheated, allowing gravity to gently bend the glass into the final shape of the plate or coin tray.
